冈本视频 is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Laura King as vice president of Strategy and Innovation. This newly created role was established to further strengthen student success and position the college at the forefront of academic excellence.
As a key member of the President’s Cabinet, Dr. King will oversee institutional research, planning, accreditation, marketing, and strategic communication. Serving as the chief strategy officer, she will align and direct strategic initiatives, enhance community and legislative affairs, and promote institutional effectiveness. This role will play an important part in driving 冈本视频’s mission by implementing data-driven strategies and fostering a culture of innovation across the college community.

For more than 20 years, Dr. King has worked in both student affairs and institutional research at two-year and four-year institutions in Minnesota and Wisconsin, holding executive leadership positions for the last seven consecutive years. Prior to joining 冈本视频, she served as the vice chancellor for Student Affairs and Strategic Enrollment at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where she led teams focused on strategic enrollment, data, and student engagement.
A passionate advocate for the transformative power of education, Dr. King has received grants and accolades for her leadership and has presented at numerous conferences on topics such as student success, strategic enrollment, co-curricular assessment, and crisis management.
Dr. King earned a doctorate in educational policy and administration from the University of Minnesota, a master's in college student development and administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and a bachelor's in liberal arts with a music performance major from the University of Wisconsin-River Fall.
