47-503-763 FIRE OFFICER 1-CERTIFIED ...prepares the paticipant to perform fire fighter supervision and management functions at a minimum national recognized level as a company officer.
Fire Officer 2 - State Exam
47-503-765 FIRE OFFICER 2 PRACTICAL EXAM ...state practical exam for Fire Officer 2 certification. Candidates will be evaluated in four evaluation stations as determined by the Wisconsin Technical College System Fire Service Training Consultant.
Fire Officer II Certified
47-503-764 FIRE OFFICER II - CERTIFIED...prepares the participant to perform fire fighting supervisor/manager functions at a minimum nationally recognized level as a company officer. Students must successfully complete Fire Officer Level I, Firefighter II and Emergency Services Instructor I, prior to taking this course.
Fire Prevention
10-503-151 FIRE PREVENTION ...provides fundamental information regarding the history and philosophy of fire prevention, organization and operation of a fire prevention bureau, use of fire codes, and identification and correction of fire hazards. Meets all requirements for Fire Inspector 1 certification with the State of Wisconsin. (Prerequisites: Fire Fighting Principles (10-503-142 or 10-503-102 or Firefighter I State Certification and advanced standing in Firefighting Principles)

10-503-194 FIRE PROTECTION HYDRAULICS ...provides a foundation of knowledge in order to understand the principles of the use of water in fire protection. Meets all of the requirements for the Driver Operator-Pumper certification with the State of Wisconsin. (Corequisite: 10-804-113, College Technical Math 1A)

10-503-159 FIRE SCIENCE INTERNSHIP ...provides an opportunity for students to perform the duties of a municipal firefighter while serving the typical 24-hour shift, excluding ¸Ô±¾ÊÓÆµ class periods, at one of several fire departments. Fire department officers evaluate student performance. Department consent required.
Firearms Instructor - 64 Hours
47-504-122 FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR 64 HOURS ...this 64 hour handgun and rifle instructor course will train instructor candidates in the theory and hands on skill development techniques of firearms instruction. Instructor candidates will develop skills to provide officers the training experience necessary for successful deployment of the semiautomatic pistol and tactical/patrol rifle. Combines a continuous program of skill improvement with a working and defensible knowledge of use of force rules
