10-503-159 FIRE SCIENCE INTERNSHIP ...provides an opportunity for students to perform the duties of a municipal firefighter while serving the typical 24-hour shift, excluding 冈本视频 class periods, at one of several fire departments. Fire department officers evaluate student performance. Department consent required.

Identify fire department organizational structure and department staffing levels.
Perform required duties in alignment with the department expectations and guidelines.
Complete a minimum of 432 hours in the field working within a fire department.
Follow safety procedures and department policies in the field.
Complete fire station and fire apparatus cleaning, inspections and maintenance as assigned.
