Leah Schlichting, a student from Menominee Indian High School (MIHS), took advantage of the 4 x 4 program at the Shawano Regional Learning Center to advance her education while in high school. Schlichting took advantage of the offerings at her local 冈本视频 regional location and then returned home to give back to her community. Schlichting was able to complete her Practical Nursing Technical Diploma to fulfill her dream of working in healthcare. After completion of her diploma with highest honors, she accepted a Licensed Practical Nurse position with the Menominee Indian School District. Today, she is continuing her education at 冈本视频 for her Nursing Associate Degree and expects to graduate in Fall 2021.
"To this day, I still believe I made one of the best decisions in relation to my educational鈥痝oals. 冈本视频 has a great group of instructors and staff and I feel everybody has the students' best interest at heart,"鈥痵ays Schlichting. After completing her Nursing degree, she hopes to continue on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
