10-544-210 GERO: GENERATIONS AND DIVERSITY IN AGING … focus on aging population demographics, attitudes toward aging, how elements of diversity impact behavior, and generational characteristics. .Emphasis is on diversity amongst older adults, including but not limited to how race or ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, social class, community location, and religious affiliation and spirituality relate to healthy, successful, and optimal aging. (Prerequisite: 10-544-204, Social Gerontology)
