47-504-451 FIREARMS UPDATE 24 HOURS ...update and recertificaion of firearms instructors in the use and instruction of pistol and rifle and cover of scenario-based training.
What will I learn?
- Demonstrate and be able to teach Shooting Fundamentals and Safe weapon handling skills of the Tactical Rifle and Handgun throughout all segments of training.
- Fire the Tactical Rifle and Handgun accurately within its effective range with emphasis on short to medium distance encounters.
- Demonstrate weapon transition and immediate action procedures in the event of a malfunction / stoppage.
- Conduct Isolation Exercises to assist officers in learning.
