- Analyze statutes that address substantive criminal laws and procedure.
- Determine if a search and arrest is in accordance with the Fourth Amendment.
- Analyze the rules provided by Miranda.
- Draft a Criminal Complaint.
- Determine possible factual and/or statutory defenses available to a defendant.
- Analyze a police report to determine the appropriate crimes involved.
- Contrast the roles of the prosecution and the defense in a criminal action.
- Identify the steps of a criminal action from the charging of a crime to appeal.

This class is taught through a combination of online-live and online instruction.
